Speaking of the Mirror Universe: you know, that _Star Trek_ episode
(the original series second season episode "Mirror, Mirror") was
also written by Jerome Bixby (author of third season episode
"Requiem for Methuselah" as well as two other, more forgettable,
third season _Star Trek_ episodes, in addition to the screenplay
of his posthumously-produced film _The Man From Earth_).

He also wrote a short story titled "It's a Good Life" (1953), which
was adapted by Rod Serling into that memorable _Twilight Zone_
episode (1959) starring Billy Mumy. Bixby is also credited with
the original story that was developed into the campy 60's
SF movie _Fantastic Voyage_.
